Realtor Traci Johnson Helping Clothe the Homeless

Traci Johnson, a Crye-Leike Realtor, is spearheading a coat donation drive for the month of October to help clothe the homeless and people in need. Used or gently worn coats can be dropped off at 4723 Andrew Jackson Parkway in Hermitage, TN.

"Donations will be distributed through a domestic violence shelter to the poor and homeless who are in desperate need of a coat," said Johnson. "There are a lot of people in the community who have nothing but the clothes they have on, and by donating a coat we can help them stay warm this winter and show them they are not forgotten."

No stranger to helping others, last year Johnson hosted a Toys for Tots donation drive, where she collected one-hundred toys for children whose parents could not afford to buy them gifts for Christmas. "My goal, whether it be collecting donations for Toys for Tots or coats for the homeless, is to inspire a sense of giving in others by encouraging them to help people in need," said Johnson.
